Joel Edgerton and Felicity Jones' new drama Train Dreams has just released a first, stunning trailer ahead of its Netflix debut.
Coming to cinemas on 7 November before its streaming release, the movie from director and co-writer Clint Bentley adapts the 2011 novella of the same name by Denis Johnson.
The trailer gives a glimpse into the life of Edgerton's protagonist, logger Robert Grainier, as he works to build a railroad across the United States.
Set in the early 20th century, the film depicts a world that's changing at a steady pace and Robert and his wife Gladys (Jones) experience conflicting feelings of awe and apprehension as they're raising their baby daughter.

Elsewhere, Train Dreams has been described as "a thoroughly engrossing period piece of dreamy details" (via AV Club), while The Guardian has praised Edgerton's "magnificently sensitive and restrained performance".
