Stephen King's dystopian thriller The Long Walk has landed a perfect critics rating ahead of its cinema release in the UK next week.

After receiving rave fan reviews from an early public screening last month, the film has debuted with a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes (from 16 reviews).

An adaptation of Stephen King's 1979 novel of the same name, the story follows a group of young men in a dystopian version of the United States as they embark on a deadly journey in hopes to change their lives forever.

In a race with no destination where the only rule is to keep walking, the last man standing gets the prize of a lifetime.

The first reviews are calling the film "one of the most powerful Stephen King film adaptations in years" (via DiscussingFilm) that "will linger in your mind for weeks" (via GamesRadar).
