Former child star Lindsay Lohan has opened up about her "terrifying" and "invasive" experiences of early fame.
The actor quickly became a household name after starring in the 1998 remake of The Parent Trap, where she played identical twins Hallie and Annie.
She went on to front numerous coming-of-age movies throughout her adolescence, including Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, Mean Girls, Get a Clue and Just My Luck.
However, while her career was flourishing, a young Lohan received an onslaught of media attention and scrutiny, which she said caused "extreme" post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

One of Lohan's biggest hits was the beloved 2003 comedy Freaky Friday, which saw her playing Anna, a cheeky teenager who mysterious switches bodies with her uptight mother Tess (Jamie Lee Curtis).
Stuck in each other's bodies, the pair navigate awkward and hilarious situations while learning to appreciate their own lives.
Lohan and Curtis will be reunited next week (8 August), as they reprise their roles for the long-awaited sequel. Freakier Friday will feature double the body-swapping hijinks as Anna's daughter Harper and soon-to-be stepdaughter Lily are also swept up in the chaos.
Freakier Friday lands in UK cinemas on 8 August 2025.
