American Psycho is leaving Netflix.
The horror-comedy is set to depart the streaming service on Saturday 9 August, so now's the time to stream if you want to get your fix.
Directed by Mary Harron, the cult classic adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis's best-selling novel tells the story of dashing 27-year-old investment banker and psychopathic murderer Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale).
Abounding with greed and narcissism like his peers, Bateman attempts to conceal his vicious alter ego. In his leisure time, he indulges in diabolical murder, while the movie blurs the line between reality and delusion.
By the end, you won't even be any surer than the unreliable narrator Bateman about what actually happened.

What to Read Next
Described as "wonderfully unsettling" by Time Out, American Psycho provides scathing social commentary on 1980s yuppie culture and the dangers of a society obsessed with materialism and perception. Expect unapologetic gore, dark humour and endless quotability.
It boasts an impressive 85% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but its violent nature divides fan opinion. Some viewers described it as "grotesque" and "disturbing", though the movie is arguably a contender for being the most influential and controversial film of the 2000s.
One Associated Press critic commented: "Bale so inhabits the character that we seem to be inside his increasingly deranged mind."
Another from The Kansas City Star declared: "Bale delivers an impossibly attractive exterior surrounding an empty void, but gives us enough grimly amusing moments to keep us hanging around for the next murder."

Alongside Bale, the star-studded cast features the likes of Willem Dafoe, Jared Leto and Reese Witherspoon.
