Karen Gillan has addressed whether she'd return to one of her most famous and fan-favourite roles.

Teaming up with fellow Marvel star Tom Hiddleston, Gillan is set to star in the upcoming Stephen King adaptation The Life of Chuck.

With the Gillan and Hiddleston team-up, talk has naturally turned to Gillan's time in the MCU as Nebula, who was last seen in 2023's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

Speaking to Movie Web about if she'd ever return to Marvel, Gillan said: "It's so much fun working in the Marvel world… in terms of the future, can't say anything. You know how it goes, but maybe… never say never."

Meanwhile, Hiddleston will make his return to the MCU as Loki in Avengers: Doomsday, with his casting being confirmed earlier this year.

Speaking about his return as Loki in April, Hiddleston said he was "very, very excited", adding: "It's really remarkable that I can talk about it because I'm mostly in a position of knowing and not being able to say anything.

"You have to be just very disciplined about carrying this secret around, but it’s been an extraordinary chapter of my life playing Loki, and it’s not over yet."

The Life of Chuck, which has already garnered rave reviews, sees Hiddleston star as "ordinary man" Charles 'Chuck' Krantz, who tragically dies from a brain tumour at the age of 39.

The film tells Chuck's life story in reverse chronological order across three distinct chapters, starting with his death and going backwards in time, before ending up in his childhood.

The Life of Chuck premiered last September at the 49th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). It will hit US cinemas on 6 June before arriving in UK cinemas on 22 August.
