Two upcoming Colleen Hoover adaptations, Regretting You and Reminders of Him, have announced some exciting new cast additions.

Following the success of the It Ends With Us movie last year, other Hoover novels are being turned into Hollywood films, including these 2019 and 2022 releases.

The Hollywood Reporter states that Universal has signed up Longlegs' Maika Monroe for the Reminders of Him movie, with Love at First Sight director Vanessa Caswill set to helm the adaptation.

Meanwhile, the publication also states that Reacher and The Fall of the House of Usher actor Willa Fitzgerald has been cast in Regretting You, which Paramount is bringing to the screen.

Elsewhere, Amazon MGM Studio is also adapting a Hoover novel in Verity. Anne Hathaway will play the title character, while Josh Hartnett and Dakota Johnson also star.

While It Ends With Us was a big financial success, it has been overshadowed by controversy due to reports of an on-set feud between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. The pair did not appear together for press interviews, sparking rumours of tension behind the scenes.

Remembering Him does not have a release date yet, while Regretting You is set for a cinema release on October 24.
