Terrifier 4 has received a huge update, leaving fans excited for the upcoming horror sequel.
Taking to Instagram last week, director Damien Leone confirmed that a fourth and final instalment of the franchise is officially on the way.
Marking his birthday, Leone shared a picture of the blood-spattered script and some details about the film, saying it will reveal Art the Clown's origin story.

"I might as well take advantage of this day and give all of the Terrifier fans a little present in return - The script for Terrifier 4 is under way and it is shaping up to be the most epic, horrifying, thrilling, emotional and satisfying conclusion to the Terrifier saga," Leone penned.
"I've personally never been so excited to see one of my own scripts translate to the screen like this one. P.S. I will finally reveal Art's origin in this entry 😉🤡 Thank you all again."

The film, which the director described as a "conclusion to the Terrifier saga" will likely follow on from the events of Terrifier 3. Digital Spy reviewed the threequel, calling it "the strongest outing for Art the Clown yet and possibly the most offensive, which, for a Terrifier movie, is a seal of approval."
Leone previously announced that a fourth film was on the way during a Q&A, saying, "Yes, there will be a Terrifier 4."
However, he later admitted to GamesRadar+ that he jumped the gun a bit, explaining: "I wasn't supposed to announce it. Now it's a question of, can I fit everything I want to fit before I get to that finale? Can I fit it in one more movie, or is it maybe going to take me two movies before I get there?"
Terrifier 3 is available to buy or rent from Prime Video, iTunes and more in the UK.
