Argylle is full of plot twists, as the movie's action-packed ending finally reveals all of the mysteries in the story.
Now, you might have to stay tuned a little bit longer in order to see the biggest twist of all.
Matthew Vaughn's new spy thriller is now available to stream on Apple TV+ after a disappointing run in cinemas. The movie is inspired by a novel of the same name from first-time author Elly Conway who, in a meta twist, is also the lead character of Argylle, played by Bryce Dallas Howard. The fictional version then gets pulled into a real-life conspiracy that mirrors her novels.
(Since the movie's release, it's been confirmed that the actual Argylle book was written by Terry Hayes and Tammy Cohen, so definitely not Taylor Swift as fans speculated.)
But does Argylle have any credit scenes to tease what might be coming next for this particular universe?
Here's your definitive credit scene guide to Argylle, including how many there are and what they mean for the future of the series.

How many credit scenes does Argylle have?
Without spoilers, we can confirm that Argylle has only one credit scene.
The scene, which is a teaser for a potential future direction for the series, comes mid-credits and there's nothing after the credits, so you can leave after that scene plays out if you wish.
You would miss a re-run of 'Electric Energy' though, one of two new songs that Ariana DeBose has recorded for the movie.
If that's all you want to know, then head away now, but if you've seen the scene and you're a bit confused, let's delve into what it all means.
Argylle credit scene explained
The credit scene doesn't continue on from Argylle's final scene, but instead cuts to 20 years earlier – and into the movie's fictional world.
We see The King's Man pub (likely not a coincidence) as a young man (played by Enola Holmes star Louis Partridge) arrives. He starts to order a cocktail and then the barman (played by Ben Daniels) gives him a box with a gun inside and tells him that he must be desperate if he's come to him.
The young man then introduces himself as Aubrey Argylle as the caption comes up on screen: "Book One. The Movie. Coming Soon."
You might be a bit confused, so let's try to explain it.
While the movie is inspired by Elly Conway's real book, the storyline is nothing like the Argylle book that was released. Vaughn took that idea and spun it into the meta version we saw in the movie, placing Elly at the centre of it.
"The movie is book four – this is about book four and book five. This is a scene from book one," Matthew Vaughn explained to the Happy Sad Confused podcast in February 2024.
"All I'll say is Argylle wears beautifully tailored Nehru collar suits, and he has to go to the best tailor in the world to get them made.”
The first book centres on Argylle's early days as a spy when he's recruited by CIA spymaster Frances Coffey. The barman in the credit scene isn't Frances Coffey, so we'll wait to see who is playing the character in the planned movie.
Is Argylle connected to Kingsman?
As for the fact that the scene takes place in a pub called The King's Man, it's likely that there will be a crossover, but it doesn't mean that Argylle is working for the Kingsman organisation.
It's more just a confirmation that the fictional world of Argylle takes place in the same world as Kingsman. (Still with us?)
"There is a universe and what we're trying to do with Marv is sort of Marvel to superheroes, we want to be spies as well," Vaughn told the Happy Sad Confused podcast in October 2023.
"So we've got Kingsman on the right, Argylle's on the left, and then we've got an idea for something in the middle as well. Then you've got these sort of competing franchises in a galaxy that one day might meet."
Whether this means we'll never see the fictional Elly Conway again remains to be seen, but there's every chance we could have two Argylle franchises on the go: one that continues Elly's story and one that tells the story of the fictional Argylle.
Oh, and Kingsman 3 has to fit in at some point too.
