Bloodthirsty viewers LOVED the first series of Ash vs Evil Dead – so much so that producers of the TV show have revealed their interest could spawn a new Evil Dead film.
And Ash vs Evil Dead's Bruce Campbell, who starred in the original Evil Dead trilogy, also made clear he's on board for making another movie based off the back of the show's success.
Producer Robert Tapert told fans at Comic-Con 2016 that while he's focused on the TV show at the moment, he wouldn't rule out another movie in the future.
"Sam [Raimi], bless him, talked about doing Evil Dead as a movie for many, many years and teased the fans forever and a day," he added (via Slashfilm).
"Finally when the day came, we went, 'Well, we think it might be better as a TV show'.
"Is there a movie out there that we are thinking about that would continue on that would merge everything? There certainly are those thoughts starting to percolate."
