What We Do in the Shadows' executive producer Paul Simms has teased a major Guillermo storyline in the upcoming fourth season of the show.
Speaking at a San Diego Comic-Con panel, Simms shared more insight into what we can learn about Guillermo's backstory.
"We will be talking about Guillermo's chosen family, the vampires, [and] we'll meet Guillermo's real family and get some real insight [into them]," he told fans.

"And also, we'll have a real vampire wedding, a full vampire wedding this season," he added.
Harvey Guillén, who plays Guillermo on the show, also shared a few details about what we can expect for his character in upcoming episodes.
"And we'll find out Guillermo's on his own path to love as well," he said, hinting that we might see him find someone special before the season is out.
"This season might be all about love, now that I think about it," said Simms.
"Yes! This season is all about love," concurred Guillen.
Adapted from Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement's 2014 mockumentary movie of the same name, What We Do in the Shadows follows vampires Nadja of Antipaxos (Natasia Demetriou), her husband Laszlo Cravensworth (Matt Berry) and Nandor the Relentless (Kayvan Novak), who share a house on Staten Island.
They're joined by their housemate, energy vampire Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch) and Guillén's character Guillermo – Nandor's human 'familiar'-turned-bodyguard.
In an interview with Digital Spy last year, Guillén previously spoke about the characters' sexual fluidity.
"I do like that," he said. "I thought it was subtle in the show. I've had some queer outlets say, 'I love that it's very subtle. But it's not in your face... should be there more'.

"I like the fact that it's not the punchline of a story. Being queer doesn't make you any different than the person whose storyline is being promoted as a hetero storyline.
"It should be seamless. It should be a love story. It should be a story of struggle, just like a hetero storyline."
What We Do in the Shadows has already been renewed for a fifth and sixth season, with the news officially confirmed in an Instagram announcement which read "Undead and ready to keep this party going."
What We Do in the Shadows season 4 airs on FX in the US, and on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer in the UK.
