Ash vs Evil Dead season two is already on the horizon and it looks like we're going to be exploring the past of Bruce Campbell's groovy hero .
In an exciting twist for the character, he'll be heading back to his hometown where we'll meet his family and friends and learn all about his life before the cabin.
Executive Producer Craig DiGregorio told Collider: "In that respect, you're learning about another side, which you haven't seen.
"In this season, I think you're going to learn more about what his life was like before he went to the cabin.
"What was his life like? Who were the people that he hung out with in high school? Maybe we'll see members of his family."
He added: "So, our plan for Season 2 is finding out more about Ash and his distinct past, before he read the book. Who was he and what was he really running away from?"

Even before its world premiere last October, Starz in the US ordered a second season of Ash vs Evil Dead.
The Evil Dead spinoff is expected to return to US screens later this year with Virgin Media On Demand airing the show in the UK.
