Disney+'s crime drama High Potential has confirmed a release date for season two, and it's very soon.
The new episodes of the show will land on the streamer in the UK and Ireland on 17 September, only a few months after its debut season became a streaming hit.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Kaitlin Olson is reprising her role as Morgan Gillory, a cleaning lady for the Los Angeles Police Department who becomes a consultant for the Major Crimes division thanks to her high IQ and "exceptional mind".
Originally released on ABC in 2024, the show is based on the popular French-Belgian series Haut Potentiel Intellectuel (HPI). The Cabin in the Woods director Drew Goddard helmed the English-language adaptation.
Along with Olson, the cast includes Daniel Sunjata as Morgan's partner Adam Karadec and Judy Reyes as head of their department Selena Soto, with Javicia Leslie, Deniz Akdeniz, Amirah J and Matthew Lamb completing the line-up.

Additionally, Steve Howey has been confirmed as a series regular for the second season, with the actor joining the cast as new precinct captain Nick Wagner.
Since its debut, High Potential has struck a chord with critics, landing a 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes from 25 reviews.
Reviewers have described it as a "cosy crime with an irreverent, impish twist" (via The Daily Telegraph) and a "fun spin on the case-of-the-week murder-mystery" (via The Age), while the Los Angeles Times dubbed it "legitimately funny and quite delightful".
There was praise for Olson too, with Financial Times writing: "After two decades as perhaps the most underexposed member of the Sunny ensemble, it’s nice to see Olson realise her potential as a series lead."

Speaking to Deadline about the upcoming season, Olson said the new episodes will "dive deeper" into some characters and relationships.
"I want to have really fun, dramatic stuff, and I want to have really funny moments and explore relationships. I think it's important to dive deeper into the other characters on the show," she said.
"We didn't have the opportunity to do that as much as I think we should, and so we're going to definitely be digging in there, too."
High Potential season 2 is releasing on Disney+ in the UK and Ireland on 17 September.
