Sterling K Brown's political thriller series Paradise has been renewed for a second season at Disney+.
The eight-part series, which debuted last month, is "set in a serene community inhabited by some of the world's most prominent individuals. But this tranquillity explodes when a shocking murder occurs and a high-stakes investigation unfolds."
The renewal shows there's some serious confidence in the series, which is still a few weeks away from its season-one finale.

In Digital Spy's review, we described Paradise as "shockingly addictive", adding: "Just when you're ready to throw in the towel in search of something with a bit more bite, it drags you back in for 'just one more episode', an insatiable need to know the whos, whats and whys of the piece."
Paradise also stars Sonic the Hedgehog's James Marsden, Sex/Life's Sarah Shahi, Julianne Nicholson, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Aliyah Mastin and Percy Daggs IV.
The show's penultimate episode will air next week, and according to Fogelman, fans will "have answers to all the questions about the big picture mystery of the world" after watching it.
"I don’t think there’s any more looming questions after that," he told Variety. "But you will have a lot of questions about the murder, about Xavier’s wife — and those answers all come in the eighth episode."
Paradise is available to stream now on Disney+.
