Fans of Love Island are already predicting this year’s winning couple after Lorenzo and Priya shared a surprise kiss in the Hideaway. Monday's (8 June) episode of the ITV2 series saw the pair grow closer, despite Lorenzo being coupled up with Jasmine and seeking a connection with Yasmin.
As the episode drew to a close, Lorenzo and Priya retreated to the Hideaway Garden for some private time away from the rest of the villa. What began as a flirtatious chat soon escalated, with Lorenzo and Priya eventually sharing a kiss before returning to the villa.
While Lorenzo has been involved in an on-and-off love triangle involving Jasmine and Yasmin, Priya has also been getting to know Samraj following her arrival as a bombshell. The kiss appeared to signal a major shift in both storylines, but viewers were left talking about an entirely different pairing by the end of the instalment.

Rather than focusing on Lorenzo and Priya, many fans turned their attention to Jasmine and Samraj, arguing the pair should now get together following the latest shake-up. Although the islanders have not yet explored a romantic connection on screen, some viewers believe they would be well-suited and have begun calling for the duo to give things a chance.
Several viewers pointed out that Jasmine and Samraj now find themselves in similar positions after watching their respective partners pursue other options. And they've been rooting for the pair from the get-go.

One penned: "If priya is into lorenzo… and samraj and mica have died off… that means samraj and jasmine are free to mingle."
Another echoed: "It should have been jasmine and samraj in that hideaway," as a third chimed in: "So glad Jasmine is finally off Lorenzo he was never any good for her. now she needs to see samraj."
Whether Samraj and Jasmine decide to truly connect remains to be seen. Meanwhile, another connection was jeopardised as two new bombshells - Namibia and Victoria - made their arrival.

Before entering the villa, the pair picked boys to date and Victoria already had her sights set on Ope, who had been coupled up with Angelista from the beginning of the series. Ope was keen to make a good first impression and warmly greeted Victoria by notably planting a kiss on her hand.
Back at the villa, however, the encounter immediately left Angelista on edge, as the girls were given a front-row seat to the dates, unbeknownst to the boys. Angelista was left in tears by Ope and Victoria's conversation, after he'd openly flirted with the bombshell.
Ope received a frosty welcome once he returned to the villa, and even snapped when confronted by Robyn over his behaviour, leaving fans furious. However, as the instalment drew to a close, Ope had an honest conversation with Angelista, who made it clear she no longer trusted him, before apologising to Robyn.
Love Island airs weeknights from 9pm on ITV2.
