Love on the Spectrum stars Madison Marilla and Tyler White have shared an update on their relationship following what we saw in season 4 of the Netflix series. The two were introduced to viewers in last year's third season, while the latest season — which dropped at the start of April — saw them get engaged.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the duo revealed they're allowed to talk about their engagement now it's aired.

That also means that they hadn't put too much effort into planning their big day yet, but now the news is out there, that's started to change.

"We've only gotten started as we've had to keep it a secret for so long," Madison said.

"I understand the aspects of television and whatnot, but, man, that was hard to keep it a secret," Tyler added. "But I gotta tell you, I'm relieved I don't have to keep it a secret no more."

What to Read Next

After the engagement aired, Madison stated she'd love to appear on fellow reality show Say Yes to the Dress to find her dream gown — and it looks like that might actually be happening.

"Randy Fenoli reached out to me not that long ago," Madison explained, referring to the show's star and bridal expert. "I was so excited. I was crying tears of happiness. I couldn't help but scream in that moment. And also, I may be at Kleinfeld in the near future. You never know."

Madison and Tyler have a lot to balance alongside their wedding prep, as Madison is working on her jewellery business and Tyler is pursuing his country music career. They revealed they'd like to get married about Christmas, with Tyler stating that it'd likely be "next year at the earliest".

Whenever they do tie the knot, could it be documented on a future season of Love on the Spectrum? "You'll have to watch to find out," Madison teased.

Love on the Spectrum seasons 1-4 are available to stream on Netflix.
