The Traitors spoilers follow.
Given the very nature of The Traitors, it's hardly surprising when fan theories are floated around. With the fourth season of the BBC reality series, there have been numerous ideas ranging from the identity of the Secret Traitor to the connections between the cast.
A new fan theory, however, pertains to the notion that the BBC are in fact spoiling exits - whether they be murders or banishments - before they air, with some viewers claiming that the eliminations are being hidden in "plain sight".
The idea revolves around spin-off series The Traitors: Uncloaked, which sees the eliminated contestants from the night's episode discuss their exit alongside host Ed Gamble and a guest panel, which often consists of past stars from the series.
This is the crucial bit of information for the latest theory, with one fan on X claiming that they can often guess the identity of the eliminated contestants in advance by drawing comparisons with the guest panellists.
"I worked out a theory last night, and I didn’t tweet it because I didn’t want to spoil tonight’s show but, alas, it came true," they began. "Regarding Uncloaked, their guests keep spoiling the show, and I’m tweeting this so they [BBC] hopefully see it and stop it!!"

The viewer noted that the "pattern" of "themed guests" was becoming "too obvious", with the first example being the exit of Amanda Collier. With Celebrity Traitors' Mark Bonnar on the panel, the viewer made the link that they were both "banished by chance" in a tiebreak.
Mark was joined by Fozia Fazil on the panel, who was eliminated from the third season of the show in a face-to-face murder. Marzook "Maz" Bana, who exited the series just before Amanda, suffered the same fate as Fozia with a face-to-face murder.
The viewer continued by suggesting that the banishment of Swansea native Fiona Hughes could be predicted after Charlotte Church and Amanda Lovett - both of whom are Welsh - were selected as part of the panel, with the latter also being a Traitor during her stint.
The final piece of evidence relates to Tom Elderfield and Alex Gray, who joined Gamble for an episode of Uncloaked on 2 January. Prior to their stint in the first season of the show, Tom and Alex were in a relationship.

In the fourth season, Judy Wilson and Roxy were revealed to be mother-and-daughter, while Ross Garshong and Ellie Buckley were confirmed to be in a relationship. Coupled with Tom and Alex's appearance on Uncloaked, the viewer used this to bolster the theory.
"It’s crazy to me that such a well sealed show is putting results up there in plain sight?!" concluded the viewer in their post, with another fan echoing this sentiment in the comment section as they said that the pattern wasn't "subtle".
Naturally, we won't say who is due to appear as a guest in future episodes of Uncloaked in case there is any merit to this theory, but we do know that the third week of the current season is due to be full of drama and treachery…
The Traitors airs on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
