Four episodes in and The Traitors have revealed who the Secret Traitor actually was. This Secret Traitor had been pulling strings from beneath a red cloak, giving the regular Traitors a shortlist of people to murder.
To get the Secret Traitor revealed, the Traitors had to mark nine people for murder in plain sight, by marking their portraits on the family tree in red ink. With Rachel successfully marking nine, including her fellow Traitor Stephen, episode three ended with the Secret Traitor heading to the turret to join their fellow baddies.
The Traitors themselves did their best to use clues from the shortlist to figure out who the Secret Traitor was. The closest they came to being correct was guessing the Secret Traitor's gender.
Because the Secret Traitor turned out to be Fiona, and if you ask fans there were plenty of clues that gave it away.
One fan noticed how she never bothered to look for a shield, writing on X: "Fiona not bothering with looking for shields and then clocking 2/3 of the Traitors casually in the car drive back from the challenge."
It wasn't just during challenges that Fiona's behaviour made fans suspect she was the Secret Traitor. One wrote on Reddit that it was her "awful feigned reactions at the round table banishments" that tipped them off. "That’s the most obvious moment to spot a Traitor when they have to do a fake reaction to one of their own being voted off. They do an over reaction or an anxious grimace."

Other fans noticed that her demeanour in the confessionals was tongue in cheek, playing to the audience that she was the Secret Traitor. One wrote "Fiona was[is] guess for Secret Traitor, as I found what she said in the VTs very vague, not suggesting which side she's on."
On Reddit, a fan noticed the music shifting every time Fiona spoke to camera. Another added "She’s [given] more screen time than everyone else when saying strange/suspicious things. It’s just so obvious it’s her," they wrote.
Some people thought that the obvious clues were a clever double bluff from the production team. One Redditor said: "They kept showing her smirking, and she has been featured most on the chair chatting. So it can't be her right? It's too obvious?"
Apparently, not!
Some fans were displeased with the reveal, with one saying: "I was hoping they’d make it a bit harder rather than the most obvious person in the game." Another called the reveal "anti-climactic".
Fiona herself seemed to revel in the role, saying that Hollywood was calling. But whether or not she gels with her fellow Traitors remains to be seen. Neither Rachel nor Stephen seemed particularly excited by her presence, and had previously made a pact to protect each other over the Secret Traitor if needed.
Not to mention, as Fiona pointed out, it is a game at the end of the day. Whether the Traitors will band together or go for each other is anyone's guess, and you can be sure that the internet will be full of guesses.
The Traitors airs on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
