Love Island spoilers follow.
Love Island's Blu Chegini has spoken out about his fellow Islanders' decision to send him home.
The construction project manager was the second person to be eliminated from the competition in last night's dumping, after he and Shea Mannings were left without partners in the recoupling.
The two boys then received the message that only one of them could stay in the Villa and they had to decide themselves which one of them that would be. Neither of them volunteered to leave, so they asked the rest of the Islanders to vote.
Harry had the final vote and explained that although he was close to Blu, he felt like Shea hadn't been given a fair opportunity as he'd only recently arrived, so ultimately decided to send Blu home.
Following the airing of his exit, Blu explained how he feels about how things went down.

"We asked them for their point of view as we were both really stubborn in that situation," he said. "We weren't going to budge, so we had to get them to make the decision.
"In the heat of the moment it’s quite difficult. I had a few reasons for why I thought I should stay. I felt like I had a stronger bond with everyone in there, obviously I'd been there a bit longer. I was constantly trying to make a connection and exploring everyone. I was making moves as quickly as I could, as opposed to Shea who was a bit more laid back.
"Everyone had their own thoughts. But listen, someone's got to go at the end of the day. The way it went was better than I thought it would have gone; I had some nice things said about me and that meant a lot to me."

On reflection, Blu said that he doesn't think he could have done anything more than he did, stating: "I wanted to go there and find a spark, and as much as I tried to see if I could get a connection or have that sort of flirty banter, I couldn't really find it."
Despite his short time in the Villa, he said he enjoyed his experience and intends to stay friends with the fellow boys. He added that Meg and Dejon are his favourite couple and he believes they "can go far".
Love Island airs nightly at 9pm on ITV2 and streams on ITVX, except for Saturdays when Unseen Bits airs instead. Aftersun follows the Sunday show at 10pm.
