Married at First Sight UK star Georges Berthonneau has claimed that he was in a "super intense" relationship with Love Island's Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu before she went on All Stars.
In an interview with the Mail Online (which has photos of the two together), Georges says that the two of them were together for 10 months, but he called it off after she got with Curtis Pritchard in the Villa.
"We were boyfriend and girlfriend from April last year. We were with each other. We spent Boxing Day together," he said, adding: "We said we loved each other after six weeks of dating.
"I fell in love with the girl. She used to call me Bear and I called her Olive because of her olive skin and that's one of her last messages to me, 'I love you, my Bear.'
"It was a super, super intense and intimate relationship... We had a lot of intimacy, we were very close, and physically and emotionally we showed each other such love, but she threw everything we had away for her TV romance with Curtis Pritchard."

He also claims that Ekin-Su "gaslit" him after ITV called up about her doing All Stars, alleging that she told him she wouldn't be with him or anyone who wouldn't let her do things like All Stars for her career, and that they agreed she would go no further than kissing.
"I feel so used," he said. "The devil on her shoulder is always money, money, money, brand deals, she just wants to be the most known person and that's all she cares about.
"I begged her not to go on All Stars and her friends were telling her not to... she said her career was more important."
He further claimed that she told him he wasn't allowed to see any other women while she was in the villa, which he agreed to, but after the show she didn't talk to him for a week. When they did speak, he states that he ended things.
The publication also cites unnamed sources allegedly close to Ekin-Su who claim the relationship with Georges was casual and never exclusive, and that she was active on dating app Raya the entire time. It also claimed that ITV was aware of this when she signed up for All Stars.
A representative for Ekin-Su added that she was "never in an exclusive relationship with Georges" and that he was aware before the show she was going in "as a single person and therefore their relationship would not continue under those circumstances".

"Ekin was upfront with Georges about her intention to pursue a new relationship on Love Island," they said. "Georges chose to remain involved with Ekin despite this, telling her that he would 'rather be the fool who waits than the one who gives up.
"However, from October 2024 to January 2025, Ekin made it clear on multiple occasions, as confirmed by her close friends and team, that their relationship was set to end prior to going on the show."
Digital Spy has reached out to Ekin-Su's representatives for further clarification.
Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
