Strictly Come Dancing’s Dianne Buswell has shared the devastating news that her beloved grandma has passed away.

Dianne shared a sweet compilation video of her Nan with various family and friends, including former Strictly partner Bobby Brazier, as she left a touching tribute to a “special lady”.

Posting to Instagram on Saturday (March 8), Dianne wrote: “rest in peace nan. Love you very much. I’m so grateful I was home to say goodbye to such a special lady in my life, now go be with pop he has been patiently waiting for you”.

In one throwback clip, Dianne and Bobby recorded a message backstage, with Bobby saying: “I’ve heard that you enjoy [EastEnders character] Freddie and I’m so grateful. And I’m even more grateful to be dancing with your granddaughter.”

Fans left their condolences in the comments, with one writing: “So sorry for your sad loss sending lots of love”. Another wrote: “Sending much love. Gosh, she would have been so proud of you!!”
