Love Island: All Stars surprised the girls with messages from their loved ones, with Harriett Blackmore's mum sharing her thoughts on Ronnie Vint.

After last night's heated argument between Elma Pazar and Curtis Pritchard, tonight's episode saw the villa's women being given the chance to speak with their friends and families.

All were delighted to be reunited, albeit virtually, with their pals back home, with Harriett speaking to her childhood friend Saffron Barker.

"I am so, so proud of you," Saffron told Harriett.

Saffron, who admitted being initially "shocked" when Harriett got back together with Ronnie, had a message from the Islander's mum about her relationship.

"Your mum is so behind you and Ronnie being together," Saffron said as Harriett lit up.

Reading a text from Harriett's mum, Saffron reassured her friend. She told Harriett her mum thinks Ronnie has "really proven himself" and that her family is on board with their relationship.

After meeting on season 11 and breaking up not long after that, Harriett and Ronnie gave their romance another shot when she joined All Stars as a bombshell.

Earlier on in the episode, the feud between Elma and Curtis continued, involving their respective partners, Sammy Root and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.

The argument turned into a confrontation between Elma and Ekin-Su, with Ekin-Su insisting Elma had been holding a grudge against her and Curtis since the heart rate challenge. Elma said they had sorted it and left to go vent with the girls in the dressing room.

Curtis and Sammy were able to clear the air after a game of padel, but will the girls be able to move on?

Love Island airs at 9pm on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
