Strictly Come Dancing winners Vito Coppola and Ellie Leach have shared a reunion on social media – and fans reckon they should team up for their own show.

The pair took the crown in the 2023 season of the BBC show, and have maintained their friendship since.

In a new Instagram Live over the weekend (February 1), the stars reunited to cook together as Vito visited Ellie in Manchester.

"The Aubergine Team in the kitchen," the professional dancer captioned the post accompanied by aubergine and heart emojis.

During the clip the pair stirred up a pasta dish with chicken and sauce, while also revealing that Vito was stopping by Manchester for his dance class tour with Shirley Ballas, with Ellie appearing as a special guest.

"I'm going to put on my dancing shoes again… we all know how that's going to go, blisters everywhere! But I'm going to try my best," Ellie joked.

However, many viewers watching suggested that the two stars should get their own cooking show off the back of the clip.

"Loved this, we need more cooking with Vito and Ellie," one wrote in the comments.

"It was hilarious. But, what we need is a TV show where Vito takes Ellie on a food tour of Italy and Ellie takes Vito on a food tour of the UK! Would be hilarious," another suggested.

"We need a TV programme with these two," a third added, while a fourth said: "Such a great friendship, do more cooking together."

During the clip, Vito admitted that he would "never say never" to releasing a cookbook, which we're sure would go down well given he is a Celebrity MasterChef champion.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
