Curtis Pritchard's ex partner Amy Hart has jumped to his defence following his recent Love Island drama.
The new All Stars series saw Curtis partnered with Kaz Crossley, before he was stolen by bombshell and series eight winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu. Curtis and Ekin-Su remained in a couple for almost two weeks and declared that they were "closed off" to other Islanders.
However, Curtis' popularity in the villa continued to grow as he caught the eye of latest bombshell Danielle Sellers, who chose him for a sleepover in the Hideaway. Danielle's decision created a lot of tension between the couple, with Curtis admitting he would be open to getting to know the new arrival.

Whilst co-hosting Love Island: The Morning After podcast, former Islanders Indiyah Polack and Amy discussed Curtis' surprising change of heart from Wednesday's episode (January 29).
"As much as I think Ekin-Su might've overreacted a tad, I can see why she felt that way. Because even though she was not privy to some of the stuff that happened, Curtis was really excited to go in there," said podcast guest Kae Kurd.

The comedian went on to suggest that Curtis had used Ekin-Su's reaction "as an excuse" to distance himself from his partner and explore his connection with Danielle.

Meanwhile, Amy – who was partnered with Curtis during his original Love Island stint – defended his actions, claiming he is "just a nice guy".
"I don't know why I am defending him," she began. "But what I will say about Ekin asking him outright 'do you think we are moving too fast?' and he said 'no'. I think he is just a nice guy that doesn't want to upset people, he doesn't like confrontation. I think maybe he's now worrying that he has been too nice to everyone."
Last night's Love Island episode saw Danielle choosing to steal Curtis as her partner, leaving Ekin-Su single. But will another love triangle form?
Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
