Meghan Markle has shared a message explaining the reason why the release of her Netflix show has been pushed back.
The Duchess of Sussex is the star of Netflix lifestyle docuseries With Love, Meghan, originally set to land on the streamer on January 15. The date now has been moved to March 4 in response to the devastating wildfires in the Los Angeles area.
"I'm thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California," Markle said in a statement shared by Tudum.

The launch of Markle's show isn't the only entertainment event that's been delayed as the wildfires rage across Southern California.
Last week, it was decided that the Oscars nominations would be announced on January 19 instead of the original date of January 17. The voting period has also been extended as multiple screenings, bake-offs for VFX contenders and the Academy Museum have been affected.
Starting in the Palisades on January 7, the ongoing wildfires have affected an area of roughly 36,000 acres across LA, with 180,000 people evacuated and a death toll of at least 24 at the time of writing.
With Love, Meghan will start streaming on Netflix on March 4.
