The Traitors spoilers follow for the UK version.

The Traitors season 3 star Livi Deane has posted about her exit from the show after her murder was aired.

Shortly after an explosive round table in which an emotional Livi saw her bestie Tyler banished, despite her emotional protests, the Traitors stuck the knife in further by deciding to murder her.

Following the episode's airing, Livi shared screenshots of her appearance on companion show The Traitors: Uncloaked to her Instagram page.

In her caption, she admitted that she actually didn't mind having to leave the game at the point she did. "As much as I have loved this journey… I was so ready to go!" She wrote.

"Thank you so much to all the love and support, I will never forget how much it has meant to me. I want to wish the rest of the players all the best in the game."

She also took the time to ask viewers at home not to judge the contestants so harshly, telling them that's it's a very different experience being in the castle.

She said: "As I write this I want to remind you all it is a game and it's so hard to spot the Traitors. I have to say… if the Traitors were unknown to the public as well as us Faithfuls in the castle, I know that we would all get a feel of how hard it is to discover the Traitors. But having viewers privilege makes it so easy for judgements on mistakes made.

"I want to end this incredible journey by saying that I'm so grateful to have the most amazing friendships with each and every player in the game. Lots of love, Livi x"

Elsewhere in the dramatic episode, Dan was banished by the group after his sneaky behaviour in the day's mission hugely backfired on him. Then the Traitors had a task to carry out in plain sight, which led to four players competing in a game of cards to avoid murder.

The episode ended on the cliffhanger of the final two players – Fozia and Leon – competing, and the tease that one of them would not be returning to the castle.

The Traitors is currently airing on BBC One and BBC iPlayer – check out The Traitors season 3 release schedule for episode details.

The Traitors series 1-2 are streaming on BBC iPlayer.
