Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague has reflected on her first Christmas since her split from Tommy Fury, describing it as an “emotional rollercoaster”.

The reality star appeared in the fifth season of the ITV show back in 2019, coupling up with Tommy as they finished as runners-up. The pair stayed together following their time in the villa, becoming engaged in July 2023 after welcoming a baby, Bambi, the previous September.

It was confirmed in August 2024, however, that the couple had split after five years together, with Molly-Mae saying in a statement that she was “extremely upset” and “never imagined that their story would end”.

Four months on from the break-up, Molly-Mae took to YouTube for her monthly vlog update, sharing that it had been a tough few weeks as she said: “It’s been an emotional rollercoaster this Christmas, as I knew it would be and that’s fine.

“But do you know what? I’ve had better up moments than I have had down, and I would really put that down to my amazing family. My amazing sister, who doesn’t ever really get a shoutout from me… I genuinely have the best sister on the planet.

“All my friends and everyone around me, the one thing they will tell you about Zoe is that she is the best sister in this world - there is nothing she wouldn’t do for me and Bambi. She’s really pulled through this Christmas and is my support system.”

Molly-Mae continued by sharing that Zoe and brother-in-law Danny dropped “everything they were doing” on the night to stay with her, adding that she was “lucky” to have “the best family in the world”.

Tommy has since spoken out about the break-up, saying in October: “What the public thinks is going on isn’t what is going on. It’s not something I envisaged happening, but it didn’t come out of nowhere.”

Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
