Love Island fans have rallied behind a new contestant after Tuesday's (30 June) instalment of the ITV dating series saw Jasmine encourage Priya to explore a new connection. But viewers were seething, as the moment occurred after it became apparent that she had an ulterior motive.
Jasmine has had a complicated journey in the Villa. After exploring her romantic potential with Lorenzo, she moved on to Kavan, then-introduced as a new bombshell. For weeks, the couple appeared to be growing stronger as their connection blossomed.
However, persistent rumours about her bond with Lorenzo became too difficult to ignore for Kavan. He decided to end the relationship, but the latest recoupling pushed him back into Jasmine's orbit, prompting the pair to agree to take a break just hours before Kavan entered Casa Amor.

Back in the main Villa, Jasmine was introduced to Jordon, one of six new lads introduced as potential suitors. Over on social media, viewers were stunned by Jasmine's actions, with many accusing her of securing Jordon's stay in the Villa to keep him as another option. Another fan branded the move "inconsiderate", as Priya has struggled to find a connection of her own.
