Love Island viewers are increasingly convinced that Martha is stringing Aidan along after watching the pair locking lips in Casa Amor. Since making her debut, Martha has been testing her romantic potential with Aidan, despite sharing a kiss with Samraj.
But fans of the dating series believe she may not be as invested as she lets on and could be more interested in securing her spot in the main Villa. This Wednesday’s (1 July) instalment saw the pair continue to get to know each other in Casa Amor, as they shared another kiss.
However, viewers now believe the connection is far from authentic. One commented that it seemed clear Martha wasn’t interested in Aidan, while another suggested Martha was using Aidan to have a shot at escaping Casa Amor. Another fan went a step further by accusing Martha of “stringing Aidan along”.
Aidan has had a complicated history since making his Love Island entrance. Initially coupled up with Ellie, Aidan then moved on with Yasmin after she’d stolen him during the series’ first recoupling.

The pair seemed to have a strong connection, until Yasmin decided to explore her potential with Lorenzo. Since then, Aidan has struggled to find a connection that sticks, struggling with his lingering attraction to Yasmin, and even clashed with Tina, another romantic interest, despite affirming he was keen to give their bond a chance.

After another recoupling, Aidan has been in a platonic partnership with Priya. But while Priya decided to recouple with Jordon this Wednesday, Aidan followed in her footsteps by bringing Martha back to the main Villa as his new partner.
This comes after the boys have continued to explore new connections in Casa Amor, blissfully unaware that some of their antics have been exposed to the girls back in the main Villa.
While Aidan appeared hopeful to see where his blossoming bond with Martha would go, his brother Kavan has been embroiled in his own love triangle. Amid his break in his relationship with Jasmine, Kavan struck up a romantic connection with new Casa Amor girl Charleen and the pair have been inseparable since sharing their first kiss.
But Kavan knew he had to make a decision during this Wednesday's instalment as the boys received news of this Wednesday's recoupling. Jasmine first announced she was eager to be reunited with Kavan upon his return and refused to couple up with another boy, but the mood shifted when Charleen followed him into the Villa.
Love Island continues this Thursday (2 July) from 9pm on ITV2.
