Starz has released what the channel has described as a "pulse-pounding" trailer for 50 Cent's new show Fightland, a drama about boxing, business, betrayal and revenge, ahead of its premiere in just a few weeks' time.
The show follows British-born boxers Duke Kilroy, who is crowned world heavyweight champion. But on the same night as he receives that title, his brother Calvin is killed in a brutal attack. Duke's reaction leads to a chain of events that land him in prison for eight years.
Following his release, the only thing on Duke's mind is getting vengeance against the main be believes is responsible: his former promoter Kingsley Marshall, whose involvement in the sport is a front for a money-laundering criminal empire.

However, Kingsley is nowhere to be seen. So Duke decides to infiltrate his business and start dismantling it from the inside in order to lure his enemy out.
To do so, he teams up with a rival cartel who want to take ownership of London's drug market. But is he getting in over his head? Or can he use the focus and determination that served him so well in the boxing ring to get the revenge he's craving?

Fightland will premiere on 31 July on Starz in the US and in August on Sky in the UK.
