Harlan Coben's latest, star-studded thriller I Will Find You has just debuted on Netflix, with reviews calling it a "daft but gripping" series that's gone "way too far". Starring Avatar's Sam Worthington as a man wrongly accused of his son's murder, the series from creator Robert Hull adapts Coben's 2023 novel of the same name.
Worthington stars as David Burroughs, a former law professor who's given a life sentence for the murder of his three-year-old son, Matthew. But David has been framed and, when he received information that his child is still alive, sets up on a mission to find him, with a few allies in his corner.
Severance star Britt Lower plays David's ex-sister-in-law Rachel Mills, a former reporter for The Boston Globe who now teaches at a community college. She's the one informing David that Matthew might still be alive. This Is Us star Milo Ventimiglia portrays Rachel's ex-boyfriend Hayden, who's still her close friend.

Also starring are Erin Richards as David's ex-wife, pediatric surgeon Cheryl Dreason, Jonathan Tucker as David's best friend and sergeant with the Boston Police, Adam Mackenzie, and Madeleine Stowe as heiress Gertrude Payne, who might just have a connection to what really happened to Matthew.
Logan Browning stars as FBI agent Sarah Greer, while Chi McBride portrays Sarah's dad, Max Williams, a legendary veteran agent and the leader of the FBI Boston Fugitive Task Force.

The series has an approval rating of 67% out of 21 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, with IndieWire branding it "the most ludicrous show of the year so far", while The Independent slammed it as "an overcranked feast of absolute nonsense that grows increasingly loopy as it goes on".
The Times called I Will Find You "daft but gripping", while The Hollywood Reporter said that it remains "watchable" despite the outlandish plot thanks to its "top-notch cast".
