Channel 5 has axed Vanessa Feltz's daytime show after just over one year. Vanessa was launched on the channel last March, and has covered topics such as celebrity, parenting and gossip.
However, it has been reported that the broadcaster has decided not to renew the series going forward, the Daily Mail claiming the decision was due to low ratings as well as issues with nuisance calls. However, there are discussions between Feltz and Channel 5 to work together again.
"Due to afternoon scheduling changes, Vanessa will be rested from July 17th," a Channel 5 spokesperson said in a statement.

What to Read Next
Vanessa is described by the broadcaster as "raw, unfiltered, authentic and personal" with "fiery discussions, a good giggle and plenty of afternoon gossip".
Feltz departed This Morning after landing the Channel 5 series last year, admitting at the time she would have stayed on the ITV show she could have.
"I love This Morning. I would never leave it, I couldn’t love it more," she explained to Metro. "I would happily have stayed and gone on the back of a motorbike from the This Morning studio straight to Channel 5 and done both.
"I almost believed I’d be able to do that, but I think apparently, it’s not the way it’s done… but I’d have done it, and I think they would have been happy for me to do it too."
Feltz added that there wasn't any drama, sharing: "I love doing it, they like me, we all love each other, and I know that sounds very cosy and all of that, but it gets like that after a while when you’ve been there so long and know everyone, it’s a great pleasure doing it."
"It’s only to do with the fact that I’ve got this opportunity to do a new show, but I love it there," the presenter continued.
Vanessa airs on Channel 5.
