How to Get to Heaven from Belfast, the brand-new series coming to Netflix from Derry Girls creator Lisa McGee, has finally confirmed an exact release date, as well as releasing a first-look trailer.
The show will premiere on Netflix globally on Thursday 12 February, and we've now had a glimpse at its exciting cast in action – with Unforgotten's Sinéad Keenan, Caoilfhionn Dunne (A Thousand Blows) and The Dry's Roisin Gallagher leading.
As the synopsis describes, How to Get to Heaven from Belfast revolves around "clever, chaotic TV writer Saoirse, glamorous, stressed-out mother of three Robyn, and dependable, inhibited carer Dara" – with the three being "a tight-knit group since school".
"Now in their late 30s, but still as close as ever, these three friends are about to embark on the most thrilling adventure of their lives," Netflix has revealed.
"When an email arrives, telling them about the death of the estranged fourth member of their childhood gang, a series of eerie events at her wake set them on a dark, dangerous and hilarious odyssey through Ireland and beyond as each tries to piece together the truth of the past..."
The eight-part series, described as a comedy-thriller, is "a show about friendship, memory and what happens when life doesn't turn out quite like you’d expected".

"We got the gang back together – the creative team behind Derry Girls has reunited to bring you How to Get to Heaven from Belfast," McGee said (via Tudum). "This is the show I've always wanted to make: a mash‑up of my two favourite genres, mystery and comedy."
The writer and creator went on to say that "we want to keep you guessing and keep you laughing", before going on to tease that How to Get to Heaven from Belfast's story is one "full of twists, turns, and arguments about eyelash extensions".
The exciting cast also includes Michelle Fairley (Gangs of London), Josh Finan (The Responder, Say Nothing), Emmett J Scanlan (MobLand, Kin), Bronagh Gallagher (Brassic) and Natasha O'Keeffe (Peaky Blinders).
