The new season of Netflix series Avatar: The Last Airbender has released a first trailer, confirming when fans can finally watch the new episodes.
The live-action adaptation of the animated series of the same name premiered in 2024 and is now returning for two more seasons at the streamer.
As season 2 is announced to premiere in 2026, Netflix has dropped a new trailer, looking at what Aang (Gordon Cormier) is up to this time around.
Like in the animated series, Aang learns earth bending in this chapter.
In season one, the 12-year-old boy finds out he can control the four elements of air, water, earth and fire as the all-powerful Avatar. Now, guided by Toph Beifong (Miya Cech), a young, blind, earth-bending prodigy, Aang attempts to master this art.

"Everything is vibrating. All around us... the world is turning," Toph says in the trailer. 'There's a secret life beneath us."
The season 2 trailer shows Aang, Katara (Kiawentiio) and her brother Sokka (Ian Ousley) watching Toph compete in an earth-bending competition.
As she shatters a boulder and showcases her earth-bending skills, the trio watches in awe.
"We're all connected through the earth," Toph also says in a voiceover.

The trailer also sees Prince Zuko's (Dallas Liu) sister Azula (Elizabeth Yu) bending lightning, considered one of the most dangerous forms of bending.
"Toph's seismic sense scene gave me literal chills," one person commented on YouTube as multiple fans were glad the trailer had "finally" been released.
"FINALLY AFTER A YEAR," another fan commented as a third person wrote: "The way they show Toph's seismic vision looks sick honestly hope this season is as good as the visuals in the trailer look."
Avatar: The Last Airbender season 2 will release in 2026 on Netflix. Season 1 is streaming on the same platform now.
