The highly anticipated fifth season of Slow Horses begins on Apple TV+ today (Wednesday 24 September). With the first two episodes dropping, the fifth season has already got off to a great start, landing a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Season five sees Gary Oldman's Jackson Lamb back with his gang of MI5 outcasts including Jack Lowden as River Cartwright and Kristin Scott Thomas as Diana Taverner.
Also returning for the latest series is The Matrix star Hugo Weaving who is reprising his role as the villain Frank Harkness after his character was introduced in season four.
Based on Mick Herron's Slough House series of novels, the plot for season five will be lifted from the London Rules book.
Ahead of its full release, the fifth season has already earned a 100% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with critics agreeing that it's as good as ever, if not better.
CBR writes that season five "continues to test the limits of audience expectations, and comes one step closer to becoming truly iconic".
