In Flight, the new thriller for fans of Slow Horses, is on TV tonight, in the 9pm slot on Channel 4. The series is also available to stream right now as a box set, if that's how you prefer to watch your shows.
The six-part drama has a number of exciting names attached, having been co-created by Slow Horses director Adam Randall and Mike Walden (Marcella).
When it comes to the cast, Katherine Kelly – who recently co-starred with Eve Myles in The Crow Girl and teamed with Siobhan Finneran in ITV's popular police drama Protection – leads as single mum and flight attendant Jo Conran.
Other names include Bronagh Waugh (Ridley), Julia Brown (Shetland), Ashley Thomas (Them), Stuart Martin (Miss Scarlet and The Duke) and Corinna Brown (Heartstopper).
Described by Channel 4 as a "gripping crime thriller", the synopsis reveals that Jo's "life is turned upside down when she is blackmailed into drug smuggling after her son is imprisoned in Bulgaria for a murder he swears he did not commit".
"In Flight is our spin on the noir genre, a high-stakes, stylish, romantic thriller with iconic characters and nerve shredding action," teased the writers and creators, Walden and Randall.

"Jo is a character close to our hearts," they added. "She is an ordinary woman facing extraordinary odds. We can't wait for audiences to meet her."
Fans of Slow Horses can also fill the time left to wait for season five by checking out the 2025 spy thriller The Amateur, which stars Rami Malek and Rachel Brosnahan, as it's now also available to stream.
In our four-star review, we said: "It's possible that some viewers might find The Amateur too much of a slow-burn, even with these moments. But for those hankering for a classic, well-crafted spy thriller, The Amateur proves to be an expert in its field."
In Flight is now available on Channel 4. The Amateur is streaming now on Disney Plus.
