A 2022 double-crossing spy thriller that will fill the Black Doves hole in your heart is now available to stream in the UK.
Premiered last year, French Canadian series Classified (original title Classé secret) is currently streaming on Channel 4's own platform.
The ten-episode thriller follows married secret service agents Rachel (Mélissa Désormeaux-Poulin) and Émile (Patrick Labbé) as they're tasked to investigate a fatal shooting near the US consulate in Montreal.
Their relatively quiet domestic life is upended when they uncover evidence pointing to a CIA mole working within their own agency, the fictional Secret Services of Canada (SSC).
Their boss at SSC, Adrien McKenna (Andreas Apergis), suspects Rachel is the mole and asks Émile to investigate his wife.

What to Read Next
"As internal trust erodes, the couple must navigate conflicting loyalties and increasing danger," the synopsis reads.
"Their pursuit of the truth places them at the centre of an international espionage conflict, where personal and national interests collide."
Classified was renewed for a second season, which premiered in 2023 and was set 18 months after the events of the first season. Season 2 picks up after the CIA mole was exposed and moves the action to Maghreb.
Season 2 isn't currently available in the UK as both instalments have only aired in Canada and Australia at present.

Elsewhere in spy thriller territory, ITV has released a first look at Manchester-set espionage series Betrayal, starring Vigil's Shaun Evans and set to release in early 2026.
Evans plays frustrated MI5 agent John Hughes, whose world changes when he meets Ehsan, a British Iranian man claiming he has intel about a plot on UK soil.
When Ehsan is executed, John kills the gunman in retaliation, kicking off a descending spiral in which John's loyalties are questioned. To redeem himself, John has to dig deeper in Ehsan's past.
Classified is streaming on Channel 4 now.
