Sisters, the Australian drama described as "gripping", has landed a new streaming home in the UK.
The series follows Julia Bechly (Maria Angelico) as she is left reeling from a deathbed confession from her father, Julius (Barry Otto), in which he claims to potentially be the father of hundreds of children due to his status as a sperm donor.
Julia throws a huge family gathering to make the best of the situation, only to be stunned that the vast majority of her quasi-siblings are male. Amid the large crowd, Julia sees two women, Roxy (Lucy Durack) and Edie (Antonia Prebble), with the trio forming a bond.
Originally airing on Australia's Network Ten in 2017 before launching on Netflix the following year, Imogen Banks and Jonathan Gavin's series has found a new streaming home in the UK, with all seven episodes available to view on Prime Video.
Co-starring Dan Spielman and Roy Billing, Sisters wasn't widely reviewed by critics upon its original release, though both the reviews listed on Rotten Tomatoes have been designated as positive.

"Sisters isn't going to move your world off its axis but would certainly make for a breezy summer binge," wrote The New Zealand Herald, while The Star called it "gripping", "unique" and "relevant" as it tackled the "universal theme of sisterhood".
The series was also warmly received by general audiences, with the family drama currently boasting an impressive user rating of 7.4 out of 10 on IMDb from over 2,000 reviews. In a review, one user described Sisters as "enjoyable".

"I really enjoyed season one of Sisters. Plenty of twists and lots of funny moments," added another user, while a third noted that they were "hooked" on the "interesting" and "different" series from the opening episode.
"It was surprising yet comfortable, interesting and intriguing, you wanted the mysteries to unfold," wrote one other user as they noted that the character had "layers", while another described the cast as "impeccable".
Sisters is streaming now on Prime Video.
