Better Man makes the bold decision to portray Robbie as a CGI chimp, with the rest of the characters appearing as humans.
Gavin & Stacey star Alison Steadman portrays Betty Williams, Robbie's grandmother, while Steve Pemberton plays his father Peter.
The cast also includes Kate Mulvany and Damon Herriman, with Raechelle Banno as All Saints member Nicole Appleton. Behind the camera is Michael Gracey, who previously helmed The Greatest Showman.
