Sight Unseen, the detective drama that "offers something new", has found a new streaming home in the UK.

Sight Unseen follows a blind former detective named Tess Avery (Dolly Lewis), who uses a remote seeing-eye guide named Sunny Patel (Agam Darshi) to help her navigate life and solve crimes.

The synopsis reads: "Former homicide detective Tess Avery, diagnosed as blind, teams up with Sunny Patel, a remote seeing-eye guide and agoraphobe, to bring down killers who elude the police in this high-stakes detective thriller."

Joining Lewis and Darshi on the cast are stars including Jarod Joseph, Tony Giroux, Roger Cross, Daniel Gillies, and Ennis Esmer.

First released in 2024, season one of the show consists of ten episodes and a second season was released in January this year.

What to Read Next

The first three episodes of its first season are now available to stream on Paramount+, where new episodes will be dropping weekly.

While the show is yet to receive a critic score on Rotten Tomatoes, three out of the four reviews that are available on the site had a favourable response.

The Globe and Mail praised the show for its "comforting" familiarity, writing: "In the end, Sight Unseen offers something new. Yet at its core, it’s just one of those comforting police procedurals that genre-lovers crave at the end of a long day."

The Wall Street Journal said the show "is more theoretically interesting than sharply executed", adding that it "will certainly provoke thought, especially among injury attorneys".

Meanwhile, Brioux TV heaped praise on lead actor Lewis, calling her performance "one to watch", adding: "She’s funny in the funny scenes, deadly serious in the drama... Her super power is that she makes you believe that Tess is real. That is something to see."

Not everyone shared their opinion, with The Beverly Hills Courier's Neely Swanson simply saying: "Sight Unseen should remain as such."

Season 1 of Sight Unseen is available to stream on Paramount+.
