Former BBC Breakfast host Nina Warhurst has announced the death of her father.
The TV presenter shared the news of the family's heartbreaking loss with her followers on Instagram, saying that his passing didn't feel real to her yet.
Nina shared a black and white photo of her holding hands with her late father and opened up on being there to share his final moments together.
"My Dad died on Wednesday night," the caption began. "From Sunday, me, my Mum and sisters spent precious time with him around the clock… singing, crying, laughing, sharing memories.
"On his last day we had nursing home afternoon tea, chippy chips and wine together."

Nina sweetly summed up their last moments together as a "gentle end to a gentle life".
"So much love and laughter and sunshine across days I’ll never forget," she wrote. "He is in my mind all the time now as we adjust to a world without him in it. I can’t quite accept that’s real yet."
Nina added that she was sharing her experience as a comfort to those facing similar circumstances, noting that it was important for people to know "that the end can be peaceful and beautiful".
She ended the caption with her heartfelt thanks to the care home staff and residents who looked after her father and the wider family during the last week.
Nina's former BBC Breakfast colleague Jon Kay was one of many to share a message of condolence in the comments section of the post.
"So sorry, dear Nina and family," he wrote. "You did him proud. Always. And he was clearly so proud of all of you. Sending loads of love. Take your time. Take care of one another xxxxx"
Strictly Come Dancing winner Stacey Dooley also penned: "All the love Nina."
Nina started as a business reporter on the BBC's flagship morning programme, before becoming a stand-in presenter. She quit BBC Breakfast in March this year after seven years and is now part of the BBC News at One team.
