BBC Breakfast weather presenter Matt Taylor suffered a live TV blunder today, with co-star Naga Munchetty asking him to "explain" the issue.

During this morning's episode of the show, Matt spoke to viewers about the rainy weather across the UK this weekend – though the graphics weren't quite co-operating.

Viewers were quick to notice that the letter 'W' was missing from names on the weather map, so cities like Glasgow, Norwich and Newcastle were spelled incorrectly.

Turning to her co-star Charlie Stayt, Naga said: "Imagine if you didn't have a 'W' on a keyboard, so the film would be called?"

"Icked," Charlie replied as they spoke about the film Wicked. "I thought you were talking about a piano keyboard then."

"Eather," Charlie added, before saying in confusion: "Where is this going?"

Naga replied: "I don't know. Does Matt want to explain, because lots of our viewers have spotted that you have got a problem with your keyboard?"

Explaining the blunder, Matt said: "There is nothing wrong with the keyboard. It was the graphic system, it threw a bit of a wobble."
