Shark! Celebrity Infested Waters, the new reality show featuring Motherland fan-favourite Lucy Punch, has confirmed its release date.
The ITV series sees several ocean-fearing celebrities take to the water to face various species of nature's most feared underwater predator, with each famous contestant going on an "adrenaline-fuelled" and "challenge-heavy journey".
Released to coincide with the 50th anniversary of Steven Spielberg's classic film Jaws, it has been confirmed that Shark! Celebrity Infested Waters will premiere on ITV1 and ITVX at 9pm on Monday 14 July.
Punch, who starred as Amanda Hughes in Motherland and spin-off series Amandaland, will be joined in the cast by Ade Adepitan, Sir Lenny Henry, Ross Noble, Dougie Poynter, Helen George and Rachel Riley.
The series has been filmed in The Bahamas, which includes 10 species of shark including Bull, Hammerhead and Tiger. As the action progresses, each celebrity will come face-to-face with an increasingly "bigger" and "dangerous" animal.

While Punch will soon be entering shark-infested waters, the actor will soon reprise her role as Amanda in Amandaland, with the sitcom being renewed for a second season by the BBC in March.
Celebrating the BBC’s order for a second series, co-writer and creator Holly Walsh said: "We've been bowled over by the response to Amandaland and can't wait to get co-labbing on the next series."

Shark! Celebrity Infested Waters premieres on ITV1 and ITVX on 14 July.
