Prime Video viewers are loving the streamer's new ballet show Étoile, with fans branding it a "binge-worthy gem".

Created by The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel's Amy Sherman-Palladino and husband Daniel Palladino, the eight-part series follows two world-renowned ballet companies in New York and Paris as they embark on an ambitious plan to save their institutions by swapping their most talented stars.

Étoile released on Prime Video at the end of April, though viewers are still continuing to discover the series as it remains in the streaming platform's 'recently added' list.

On IMDB, Étoile currently holds an 7.5 rating, with fans praising the cast, characters and comedic writing.

"Another gem from the team of Sherman and Palladino," one review reads, while another called it "quick, sharp and laugh out loud funny".

Étoile has also received positive reception from critics, earning it a 'Certified Fresh' score of 85% on Rotten Tomatoes.

"An affectionate ode to the beauty of ballet and the difficult personalities behind it, Étoile isn't as tonally nimble as previous Sherman-Palladino series but packs plenty of the same charms," reads the site's critical consensus.
