ITV's hit crime drama Unforgotten has been added to Disney+ in the UK.
Seasons one to five are now available to stream, with season six – which concluded its run on ITV in February – likely to follow shortly.
The first four seasons of the hit show star Nicola Walker and Sanjeev Bhaskar as detectives DCI Cassie Stuart and DS Sunil 'Sunny' Khan as they try to crack cold cases of murder and disappearance.
However, Walker's central character was written out of the show at the end of season four in what we described as a "brutally final way", with Sinéad Keenan joining the cast as DCI Jessie James in season five, stepping into the lead role alongside Bhaskar.
Keenan admitted that she was initially reluctant to join the show following Walker's departure but was eventually convinced by the "brilliant" scripts.

"When you come into an established show, it's very, very different. And obviously, I'd seen the show, and Nicola is brilliant, so I was initially reticent about even reading the scripts. But then I read the scripts, and they were brilliant," she said.
"When I spoke to my agent she said, 'Apparently it's a really lovely job', and I was like, 'OK, you're just trying to sell this now'. My fear was that I didn’t want to be filling a Cassie-shaped hole."
Meanwhile, hot on the heels of the Unforgotten's season six finale in February, ITV announced that the show has been recommissioned for season seven.

Creator Chris Lang, who will write the new episodes, said in a statement: "I am so delighted to have been asked to create another series of Unforgotten, and given the opportunity once again to follow Sunny, Jess and their brilliant team, as they attempt to crack another cold case.
"Unforgotten is a drama that has always asked its audience to lean in, concentrate, and engage with complex ideas, plots and themes, and we are profoundly grateful that such a large and loyal audience continue to enjoy doing exactly that."

Unforgotten seasons 1 -6 are available to stream on ITVX and STV Player. Seasons 1-5 are available to stream on Disney+.
