There's another Harlan Coben series on the horizon for 2025, and it will once again see the best-selling author team with his long-standing TV collaborator Danny Brocklehurst (whose credits also include Brassic and the BBC's Ten Pound Poms).
The creative pair have worked together on past Netflix hits The Stranger, Safe, Stay Close and – most recently – the hugely successful Fool Me Once.
This time they're not adapting one of Coben's written works, but an original that's been penned specifically for television. Streaming, to be exact, as this series is set to arrive on Prime Video.

Lazarus will lean more into a mysterious ghost story – at least, that's how Coben himself has teased it. The story will centre on a forensic psychologist who is experiencing some disturbing and unexplainable things in the wake of his father's death.
Of course, there'll be some twists and turns thrown in. His sister has also been murdered, and there's set to be some other cold cases for good measure. So far, so very Coben.

Who is in the cast of Harlan Coben's Lazarus?
No, Richard Armitage is nowhere to be seen. The actor has been a regular face in Coben's on-screen universe, having taken on a role in no less than four adaptations – including the most recent Netflix release, Missing You, which dropped earlier this month.
Lazarus is set to introduce a new cast of actors to the Cobenverse, with Sam Claflin (Peaky Blinders, Daisy Jones & The Six) taking on the leading role of Laz – the aforementioned troubled psychologist.
Bill Nighy has also been announced to have joined the project, marking his first role in a TV series. The Hollywood actor recently starred with James Norton in Joy, which enjoyed a cinema release before making its way onto Netflix.
Alexandra Roach – who is probably best known for her turn in Channel 4's The Light in the Hall, and who most recently starred with Joe Cole in the BBC's Nightsleeper – is also set to take a key role in Lazarus.
Other confirmed names include Kate Ashfield (A Confession), Roisin Gallagher (The Dry, which has just been renewed at ITV), David Fynn (The Pembrokeshire Murders) and Karla Crome (who is also set to star in Netflix's upcoming drama Toxic Town).
Where is Harlan Coben's Lazarus being filmed?
We've had a glimpse at Sam Claflin in action, thanks to some pictures taken on set – and filming was taking place in Manchester.
It was also reported in 2024 that filming was taking place in the seaside town of Morecambe in Lancashire, England.
When is Harlan Coben's next show Lazarus being released?
Harlan Coben confirmed in a recent interview with Radio Times that filming on Lazarus had ended, and it's been suggested that the show will release at some point in 2025 (although an exact window or date has not yet been officially announced).
What other Harlan Coben shows are on the way?
Based on another of his books, Coben's Caught (Atrapados) is also set to be released at some point this year.
Filmed in Buenos Aires and Bariloche, it centres on a reporter who catches criminals that have evaded justice.
Streaming giant Netflix has also given the green light for another Harlan Coben adaptation, this time of his 2019 book Run Away. The synopsis reveals that the show will follow a father on the desperate hunt for his missing daughter.
There have been no cast announcements for that one yet, but we do know that Danny Brocklehurst will once again be part of the writing team and that Quay Street Productions – who also worked on previous series such as Missing You and Fool Me Once – is also once again attached to the project.
Lazarus is expected to release on Prime Video in 2025. The Harlan Coben collection is now on Netflix.
