A second season of Peter Capaldi's thriller series Criminal Record is heading to Apple TV+.
Capaldi's co-star Cush Jumbo appeared to confirm the news last night (February 25) on an episode of on Watch What Happens Live when asked about the prospect of a second season by host Andy Cohen.
"There will be, yeah," she responded (via Deadline).
Created and written by Paul Rutman, Criminal Record is an eight-part series which explores the "issues of race, institutional failure and the quest to find common ground in a polarised Britain".

The show stars Capaldi and Jumbo as two detectives in London who are brought together after receiving an anonymous phone call for an old murder case.

Capaldi plays seasoned Detective Chief Inspector Daniel Hegarty, while Jumbo stars as DS June Lenker, a younger detective sergeant whose work in the police force is made difficult by a combination of race, gender and age discrimination.
The pair's working relationship becomes strained after the phone call leads Lenker to discover that Hegarty locked up an innocent man after mishandling the case, with her discoveries leaving Hegarty's legacy hanging in the balance.

Zoë Wanamaker, Stephen Campbell Moore, Shaun Dooley and Charlie Creed-Miles also star.
Dionne Brown, Rasaq Kukoyi, Maisie Ayres, Aysha Kala, Cathy Tyson and Tom Moutchi round out the cast. Capaldi and Jumbo also executive produced the series alongside Rutman and Elaine Collins.
The series premiered earlier this year, with all episodes now available to watch on Apple TV+, with viewers able to subscribe for £8.99 per month.
