Jane is embarrassed as she explains to Clint that she thought she was meeting someone her own age. Clint charms her, suggesting she stays – he likes mature women and although she's wary, Jane sits down.
Unaware of how much time has passed, the two connect over shared interests before she wishes him the best at finding someone on the app and leaves. Flattered by his smooth talk, Jane wistfully looks back at him, enamoured.
After the date, Jane admits to Aaron and Nicolette that she was charmed by Clint but the age gap means they can't see each other again. However, this doesn't stop Clint from asking Jane for another date.

When Byron hears about it, he peppers Jane with questions about Clint and his real intentions. Byron unintentionally insinuates Clint couldn't be attracted or interested in Jane without a catch and Jane is left so insulted that she messages Clint, agreeing to date number two.
Meanwhile, Andrew updates Sadie and Byron on the Varga-Murphys' delayed return from their trip when he notices movement from their house. He leaves to check it out but soon comes back and reports it was a false alarm – no one was there.
Still feeling guilty about the piercing saga, Byron hatches a plan to show Sadie he supports her choice, so he announces that he's going to get a piercing himself.
Elsewhere, Krista, Abby and Leo check on Sebastian – who's worried this latest 'accident' might affect his job at the cafe. Krista showers Seb with attention, leaving Leo feeling on the outer.
At the hospital, Sebastian pushes Leo to spend time with Abby so he can have Krista all to himself. Seb takes advantage of Krista's support, explaining how he thinks she's a touchstone person in his life. But he fears with her getting married, she won't have time for him anymore. Krista assures him she will, which is music to Seb's ears.
Leo is frustrated when Krista bails on further plans she's made with him and Abby, but his focus is hijacked by a parking fine Nicolette has from Melbourne Airport on the day Yaz fled.
When Leo becomes increasingly convinced that Seb will continue to negatively impact his relationship, he makes a proposition to Nicolette. He won't tell anyone she helped Yaz flee if she does something in return... she needs to sack Seb.
