Neighbours has revealed that Holly Hoyland will be at the centre of next week's high-stakes hostage situation.
The Aussie soap had previously released a collection of spoiler pictures from next week's episodes, which showed Holly, Aaron Brennan, Susan Kennedy, Paul Robinson, Felix Rodwell, Wendy Rodwell and Quinn Lao being held at The Waterhole against their will.
Firm details of the storyline were being kept under wraps at the time, but it's now been confirmed that the danger ties in with Holly's ongoing spending sprees.
Ever since her frightening ordeal with Heath Royce in the Outback, Holly has been making herself feel better by treating herself with his dirty money.

This decision is about to come back to haunt her, as she receives an anonymous text from someone else who knew Heath. This person sends an ominous demand to have the money back.
Holly quickly figures out that Heath's ex-bodyguard Justin is the person who's messaging her. Justin was previously involved in the kidnap of Toadie Rebecchi and Melanie Pearson, so there's no doubt over how dangerous he is.
Not wanting to risk a similar fate, Holly privately resolves to give Justin the remaining money in the hope that this will pacify him.
Sadly, this isn't possible as Karl and Susan do some cleaning in the garden and unwittingly throw out the bag of potting mix which had the money hidden in it.

During Toadie's farewell party at Number 28, Wendy notices that Holly seems stressed and distracted.
Wendy figures out that Holly has continued to spend Heath's cash, despite her previous promises that she'd already handed over the full amount to the police.
No longer prepared to keep quiet, Wendy tips off Susan over what's happening.
Susan takes Holly off to The Waterhole for a quiet word, but they're interrupted when Justin bursts in and makes violent threats towards Holly.

The confrontation escalates into a hostage drama, with innocent bystanders caught up in the tense situation.
