Hollyoaks star Emma Rigby is set to star in a "gripping" new thriller based on a real-life murder. Known for playing Hannah Ashworth on the soap, the actor will portray Tracie Andrews in Suspect: The Road Rage Killer.

The Channel 5 drama follows the case of Lee Harvey, who was claimed by fiancée Andrews to have been killed in a road rage incident on a country lane in 1996. However, as police investigated the murder, suspicion began to fall on Andrews, who was eventually convicted of his murder.

The new true crime project is a one-off 90-minute drama, and is described as "a gripping psychological crime thriller told through first-hand accounts, police records, archive transcripts, and reconstructed memories".
