Hollyoaks has confirmed a life-changing update for former character Zoe Anderson – and it's bad news for Prince McQueen.
Viewers will remember that Zoe and Prince have son Theo together, with Zoe falling pregnant while Prince was still in a relationship with Dilly Harcourt.
While the pair were engaged after the show's time jump, they split after Prince cheated on Zoe with Dilly – who was soon after murdered by Jez Blake.
Zoe left the village with Theo to start a new life in Dubai soon after, and Prince was devastated that his son would be on the other side of the world.

Next week, Prince asks Pearl Anderson if she's heard from her granddaughter recently, and she ends up revealing that Zoe has some big news.
"Zoe is engaged again!" explains our source. "But this isn't the only secret she has been hiding – her new fiancé wants to adopt Theo. Prince is heartbroken by this update and feels that he’s been replaced in his son's life."
With Bobby Costello's funeral taking place next week, Leela and Peri Lomax are keen to lend a hand, so they take some supplies over to the McQueens and help out Prince.

When Prince finds out that Leela's son Daniel currently gets his hair cut by Marie Fielding, he offers to take the young boy to a barber who specialises in afros.
Leela and Peri are grateful to Prince for this kind suggestion, and the mother and daughter duo look at Prince fondly, both fully aware that he is single.
Later in the week, Prince offers to look after Daniel for the day, perhaps missing being a dad to Theo after hearing Zoe's big news.

Prince and Daniel get on like a house on fire on their boys' day out, and afterwards, Peri stays behind to spend some time with the eligible bachelor.
"Sparks are flying between Prince and Peri," reveals our insider. "Peri doesn't want to waste any time, so takes a chance on love and asks him out for a drink.
"He happily agrees to a date – is romance on the cards for this pair?"
Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.
